Sujet: Question on the DMC2 mapper,,,

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

I am interested in purchasing the DMC2 and after trying it out at a local retailer..I noticed that it has no control over the gains, treble, mid and bass controls using the FULL CUE/ MIXTURE skin.Does this mapper add anything that might control these? Just curious before I purchase.I have control now using the Total Control. If it doesnt handle any of these controls I assume I will have to use my Numark cm100 mixer?
I am trying to get my mixer, dmx controller and possibly the DMC2 all in my case instead of branching out with equipment.. cleaning up if you will:)

Thanks

Hi there the DMC2 is meant for use in a racked setup , idealy with a cm2000 usb mixer.

The total control is designed as a compact all purpose controller not needing a mixer.

The mapper can alter the functions of the buttons but it makes more sense if you want these functions on a controler to use a tabletop one such as the Total Control.

Otherwise use a rack mixer with a soundcard (or one with a with usb link ie cm200) and the dmc2.

The custom mapper has a mixer mode that allows gain, bass, treble, etc. to be adjusted directly from the DMC-2, but ideally you should use the DMC-2 with a proper rack mount DJ mixer.

Thanks guys....Its good to know that the mapper can do it.
