Hello gang...looking for some assitance in properly setting up VDJ v5.1 with my Numark CM 200 USB Mixer.
I can't seem to figure out how to set up the configuration of VDJ so that I can play each deck to a seperate channel in my USB Mixer.
The Numark CM 200 USB Mixer has two USB connections so that you can run a USB cable to each channel.
I am hoping that I can run my right deck to it's own channel and the same for the left deck through my USB cables however, I cannot figure out how to set it up properly in the CONFIG.
I currently am running it as:
Inputs: None
Outputs: External Mixer
Sound Card(s): 2 Cards
I have tried many other configurations however....I keep getting the Left Deck and Right Deck playing in the same channel.
Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Use the DMX01 option that comes up in the soundcard drop-down. It is the same soundcard mixer design that is in the 200. Then you should be good.
If you want to use the 2 card option then you simply select the first Audio USB Card in the drop-down list for card 1, then for card 2 select the second Audio USB Card option in the drop-down. Also, double check the back of the mixer and make sure both the switches are set for the respective channels 3 and 4 and NOT Master or Record.
I have that mixer and it's great once setup.

Thank you cstoll for the response however, in the "Sound card(s)" dropdown option within the config, I do not have a "DMX01" option to choose from. The only options I have to select are:
- Mono Seperated
- 2 Cards
- 4.1 Card
- Asio Driver
Yes, the back of the mixer is set as:
- USB A = Channel 3
- USB B = Channel 4

Also, in response to your second paragraph...
If I have the "2 Cards" selected in the drop-down for "Sound card(s)", I get the following as my options within the drop-down below it:
- Sound Card
+ Primary Sound Card
+ Speaker (2- USB Audio CODEC)
+ Speakers (Conexant High Definition SmartAudio
+ Digital Output Device (HDMI) (2- High Definition)
+ Speakers (USB Audio CODEC)
+ SPDIF Interface (Conexant High Definition SmartAudio
And I have the same drop-down options within the "Second card" as well.
Still can't seem to get this right.
Thank you for your assistance here and hopefully I can get this booger up and running soon.

What version is this? It's ODD that it isn't seeing the DMX01 option ... but anyhow...
OK, I just had the reference wrong for the drop-down options --
Output - External Mixer
Soundcards - 2 cards
Sound card - Speakers (USB Audio CODEC) [The 5th one in the list - this should be left (Chan 3)]
Second card - Speakers (2- USB Audio CODEC) [The 2nd one in the list - this should be right (Chan 4)]
And if I got them backwards then use the output channel drop down to flip them.

I'm having similar issues with my M-Audio Fast Track Pro. I choose the ASIO driver. I point Deck 1 to 1&2 and Deck 2 to 3&4 but only channel 1 is playing. If I move Deck 2 to 1&2 as well, I get both decks on the same channel. What is the correct configuration for an ASIO external device?

I'm sorry, but what ever issue you are having now, has nothing to do with this 9 year old thread. Please start you own thread, thank you.
