Number 1: Does it support more than two decks?
I have three, and I'd like to use all three of my decks with whatever DVS I choose to use...but it's not ALL important- It'd just be nice..
Number 2: Is there any fix for that BPM fluctuation problem?
I bought a single timecode vinyl to use with the trial. I experienced a fluctuation of about +/- 1 bpm, which... is definitely not good for trance. I know REAL vinyl does that, but that fluctuation has never caused me to trainwreck before. So.. I dunno if it's a problem with my setup or what- I'm using a Technics SL 1210 MK5, (but i've also got a mk2 that I tried), Shure whitelabel needles (I also tried the M44-7's), all connected to a Maya 44 USB soundcard. I'm using an Asus m51sn-x2, which has 4 gigs of ram, a 2.4 ghz dual core intel processor, and a 32 bit version of vista home premium sp1.
I also tried out my old gateway with less than 512 megs ram, and i dont even know the processor... we'll just say that the performance was less than desirable. I also tried the timecode CD, and the performance was rock solid. Unfortunately, I only have one CDJ, so... I can't just leave my vinyl decks out of the digital rapture I'll set up =)
So, I like the interface of Virtual DJ by far more than any other DVS I've used. That said, if there is no fix for the BPM fluctuation, that will definitely break the deal...and adding a third virtual deck won't make the deal, but it'll certainly help.

I don't want you to get the impression that you are being ignored, so, here goes...
There are skins available to pro users that allow you to run multi-instance with (I think) up to four decks (I do not use it, so I'm not positive). As far as physical decks, I do not know.
In terms of BPM fluctuation, is there any chance that your TT drive is not running properly? Are you using a warped TCV?

Yes, two or four instance is possible, not three. Also the time code option for the trial is only good for five minutes, I think.

Yeah, I figured the full version would let you use your tcvs for as long as it ran ;)
I doubt that the turntable isn't running properly- I just replaced one of my two MK2's with an MK5 last month, and the problem happens on both tables (the mk2 and the mk5). Plus the mirrors show me that its spinning the right speed.
The vinyl isn't warped that I can tell... The SSL vinyl that I got to try out some other software was visibly warped (not a LOT), and it didn't impact performance at all. (Unfortunately, I already used the "its warped" excuse to return the vinyl, since I wouldn't be needing it anymore >.< so I can't use that to try it out)
I figured you could run multiple instances if worst came to worst, and then just set the second instance to use a separate input for your last deck. But I really liked the overlapping waveforms, it's pretty, and makes beatmatching a lot faster and accurate =) plus I'd hate to keep alt+tabbing.
So I was hoping for at least 3 decks, rather than multi-instance.
Thanks for making me feel not ignored =p
(I understand that forums can take some time to figure stuff out, so no worries there =)
^Hey look- I ended a parenthetical statement with an emoticon! I think that deserves props... ;)
