Sujet: My little rant on fairness.

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

First off let me say, virtual dj is a great piece of software,

now...
I think it sucks that since im a virtual vynil user im still stuck at 5.07 and everyone one else is at 5.2. the ability to record video is the piece im missing, fraps sucks at the 19 frames it does and output to a dvd recorder loses quality.

i bought.. virtual vynil..Total control...and the retarded numark sound card for laptops and still i lag behind.. id figure one key would work across the spectrum... bleh.. n e way im just ranting....

The delay for release of a later version of Virtual Vinyl is Numark's issue, not VDJ's. They have been given the latest versions, and are testing them before release. I suggest you head over the the Numark Forum and voice your concerns there.....I hope that helps....T

I have found that using Nemark CUE I get the updates a weak or two after VDJ but it usually has all the stability I need before VDJ. While others are asking why or how come. I can sit back with a more security knowing its already solved before release. I love the relationship of numark and vdj... I've learned to be patient with updates because I don't want to find out that there is a bug somewhere that needs to be resolved quickly... Be patient. I'm using 5.1 but was totally happy with 5.07 and may go back to it because of one detail that will not make or break anything just a personal thing.

Anything added to VDJ / CUE is the cherry on top of perfection. I can't think of anything that needs improvement in my eyes. I use timecode and controllers.

if you are rushing for video recording from Virtual Dj...
then you may have to wait a while.....still not near what we are all expecting

you using fraps.. still a better option to vdj video recording at the moment

but it is encouraging to see vdj.. going this way... I know all persons are waiting to see this seamless
but it will take some time

I would suggest if you are wanting to record your video mixes for podcasting/etc; That you invest in a good Capture card and record your mixes in DVD quality format, either mpeg 2, or 4.

You can record either direct from your vid card's TV out, or using a scan converter if necessary.

But you will need a second computer.

With some practice you can get some very good quality captures, but unfortunately most upload sites have a file size limits, which in turn will limit your file quality of your final rendering.

notice i said it was a good program i wasnt downing it.

I use TCCD with 2 numark cdx's and i have a set of numarks that play cd and vynil. I do mix dvd's so keeping my quality is upmost important to me..

No bitching it wasjust a rant. actually id be happy if i could find a good midi mixer lol it will shut me up, i veer from my total control because it doesnt have transform switches...

is there a setting in vdj for transform switches?

ahhh poor baby.
hahaha
:-)

yea thats a real positive remark... on a question..

anyway i know some people say using transforming switches is useless, blah i was in a car wreck and had a nerve severed in my left arm lost most my quick wrist movement, so i use the transform switch as a alternate way of doing things,, shrug... for the genre i work in im not to shabby..

As has been said many times, it's a rant you should direct at Numark, not Atomix, since they do not control the release of Numark products... ;)
