Sujet: Venue VJ - anyone try it???

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

We subscribed to this service yesterday. It's a download service for licensed music videos. They are somehow affiliated with ScreenplayVJ which we subscribed to last year...and we love their videos and quality.

Just want to get some feedback from anyone that may have tried them out. Supposedly their videos will only work in PCDJ and Virtual DJ.

I'm having some issues this morning trying to open the files because they are .vix files (whatever that is)

Best Wishes,

Actually....just got off of the phone with them (PCDJ/VenueVJ support)

Files aren't going to work/open on my system because I'm using Virtual VINYL
Guess they only work with the newest version of Virtual DJ

Kind of silly if you ask me, since they are pretty much the same thing...other than Numark doesn't UPDATE their stuff like they should....
Still on 5.0.7
Virtual DJ on 5.2

Oh well....

Let me know if any of you have tried it out. I'm going to keep the subscription still, and hope that Virtual Vinyl gets an update.

Wont use them until they drop the copy protection or at least allow you to bring them into adobe audition and sony vegas to edit them like you can with the REAL screen play, promo only, 8thwonder, my12inch, smashvids, etc. videos

also downloaded their demo and was not impressed with the quality, video is too compressed!

soon everyone in the uk will also, good or bad be able to voice their opinion on this service, until then we should wait until the service is available...

I like it so far. Signed up last month.
