This was near my home today.... 5 minutes was the warning on the T.V... Then it appeared. I was cooking dinner and I happened to look out the window and seen my neighbors pointing. I ran outside to get the kids and the spout was just starting to form... It lasted about 20 minutes but the cell formed 2 more for a total of 3 tornados

that's an amazing picture

Wow. Looks great from here, but I wouldn't want to be the one taking that picture! (which I presume was you Fatkatz) What area are you from again?

WOW, Cool photo.

Amazing, hope everyone's alright, great photo as well

I'm parker, colorado which is about 26 miles from Denver home of the " demacratic national convention ". Anyway, this tornado was about 2-3 miles away. It stayed in an open field for what seamed like forever. The sad part is that thier was no warning and it was basically a moment of warning on tv of a tornado warning for the following counties to clouds starting to rotate. It is the ugliest scene you ever want near you. actually, you get like "moth to a flame", you know you should run for cover but you can't because the shear awsomeness of it keeps you watching.

WOW, Fat, cool pics..I saw one once..never want to see another.....if I had not just used the washroom I would have wet myself. Those things are scary....

This is the second time I've seen them. The first time I was A work and people where running towards the window I looked up and saw one just across the parking lot. It was running down the local airport about a 1/4 mile away. It had a sister tornado at the same time about 3 miles away moving toward my home. Now that was a scary moment because it was just after school and you can't do a damn thing but start making phone calls. That was about 8 years ago.

The pictures don't show the actual color of the sky. A very dark blue mixed with a tent of green. It's a look like the sky is about to fall or swallow the city.

I saw mine at night. Nasty storm, I was at work, it tore the roof off the building I was in. Looked out of the hole and saw the funnel glowing. Damn thing looked evil........

Now thats a crackin' pic, even better than the first one you put up fat's. I can't believe there's people that chase these things. They must be bloody mental.

It makes you think how powerful nature can be, doesn't it.

It's his age mate. Starting to lose his marbles, lol

Right after I saw that picture this morning, they showed it on the news. I'm not sure if it was the same spout, but the one I saw was heading right for the only house in the middle of a big field! It was an aerial shot, and it looked wicked!
