It was at an nice house party here in Miami and it was awesome! I did have some problems though. First the VDJ locked up and I had to reboot! Thank god I have a Macbook (2.4/320GB HD/4GB RAM), I rebooted quick and it was still early. Then later on in the night, I tried to run my smoke machine, and due to 2 frozen margarita machines running, the power on that side of the house blew out!
Overall in ended up great and I had a good crowd dancing almost all night! I just learned some things that night! Everyone said the music and DJ was excellent!

I can barely remember my first gig some 31+ years ago!!!
January 1977 with 'real' records ............ and I'm still doing it!!! :-)

good job !
i would suggest checking the crash log and maybe even try to force a freeze when at home and get yourself some ideas of how hard you can push your system ...good learning experience and it could save embarassment at gigs

one frozen margarita machine FOR YOU, should be fine ..... so let the host and guests have one for them , plugged into a different outlet
