Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

Why is it, that when you do a forum search, you are confronted with a list of items, and after choosing one, if it is not what you are after you cannot go back to the list with a "back Key"

The only option is to re-enter your search words all over again, and again... while you review your search topic.

It never used to be like this under the old search engine. :-(

I'm using google to search the forums now.. The results gives no sense at all :(

I really miss the old search!!
 
know where your coming from chris, what i normally do now when putting in a search is copy it so when i have to go back and do another i just simply paste it in. saves doing re types all the time.... i'm so lazy
 
I'm going to upset a few people here, but IMO the new search is shit, much prefer the old search engine.

And I think alot of users do.

I find the New Search working Great.. since it actually searchs everywhere at once.

Personally... if you look at other community board, they all work like the new site's search.

Seriously, though, the old search seemed to be better. Maybe once they work out the bugs, this one will be what I think they meant it to be...A more powerful, global search capability ;)
