Sujet: Hercules RMX startup, No sound from computer?

Hi I just received the Hercules RMX in the mail and installed all the drivers. I opened up virtual dj and cant get sound to come from my computer. I can cue the music through headphones on the mixer, but I cant hear music from the computer for mixing. I just wanted to play around on the computer before I hooked it up to any speakers. any help would be greatly appreciated

not sure if I dont have certain preferences set or if I have to reinstall drivers

The rmx is your soundcard. You must connect it to speakers otherwise you won´t get any sound out.
 
Do the speakers have to pass through an amp, or how would you recommend hooking them up to the rmx console

Run it trough your normal stereo using aux in or cd in or amplified speakers
 
jenson, do not advise someone about something you are clearly unfamiliar with although the advice is well meaning, baseball go into config > sound set up and use single output > then rmx for soundcards, you should be able to see what you need to do, need any help after that give me a shout...
 
My next question is I was mixing, and when I held down the fast forward button to cue up the track, the playing track through the speakers would be delayed and slow down. Is that my computer problem?
 
I have the RMX and I cant get my headphones to work properley. It seems that deck one is the only one that gets controlled by the headphones volume and deck two only comes on when I have the volume deck b up and the crossfader towards deck b. How can I get it to work on both
