Hi Guys,
I just got a external harddrive, and put my videos onto it, the videos are all in .avi format, but they will not play on the HD, my laptop is running windows vista, the hard drive is formatted to FAT32, when I drop the vid to any deck, a load of numbers and letters scroll, but no vid or sound at all.
Would this be because of the way the HD is formatted??

This shouldn't be a problem but, you can convert an existing fat32 partition to NTFS using command line.
CONVERT driveletter: /FS:NTFS
You can type CONVERT /? to get addtional command line options.
