Sujet dac 2 pitch issue

Ce topic est ancien et peut contenir des informations obselètes ou incorrectes.

Right, the only problem i've got is the pitch on the dac 2 controller.
When plugged into the usb port the pitch only goes in the plus direction not minus.
When i put the dac 2 mapper dll file into the correct folder the pitch will minus but not plus.
Any ideas????

Thanks

Craig

Thanks Pern, i will try it.
Tried the dac-2 on Thursday night and that was using old mappers, i see you created a new mapper update available on the downloads section on the same day. lol

I found a small "bug" in the mapper... It doesn't show the loop length on the screen of the dac.

No huge problem but sometimes it's annoying. :) Works great at everything else. Still my fav dac2 mapper :)

Oh and i've got another suggestion. When in a loop, is it possible to make the button with the arrow to the right to also make the loop shorter, but on the other side? I'll try to illustrate this.

[ - - - - ] 4 beat loop

- When pressing the left arrow
[ - - ] - - first two remain

- Pressing it again
[ - ] - - - in half again, of course you know this already.

- Right arrow while in a loop does this now:
[ - - - - ] --> [ - - - - - - - -] Turns a 4-loop in an 8-loop

- I'd like it if it did this:
- - [ - - ]

- And pressed again
- - - [ - ]

If you listen to Laidback Luke sometimes: he uses that kind of loops quite often and it sounds very pro :) Might it be possible to integrate this in your mapper? Or make an option for it?

So when pressing Right it should move forward, set a new loop start and devide the loop length by 2 ?

It should make the same loop shorter, but using the front half instead of the rear half. :)
