Sujet: How do you use fadetoblack?

Hi all,

Finally downloaded 5.2 and I've been trying to test the fadetoblack with volume sliders on my mixer.

I've got nuo4 and have no idea how it works. I've mapped volume levels from vdj to my sliders on mixer and still no joy.

Theres no deck selection when you select video_fadetoblack so how does it work?

Any help is appreciated.

So I thought it was just a case off going to the Config menu-> Video tab and checking the box that says "Fade to black on volume sliders".

Then if you move the on-screen volume faders the video should fade to black. It would make sense that if you've just mapped the volume faders to the ones on your nuo-4, then that should also make them fade it to black as well.

Hopefully you've just not noticed that check box on the video tab :-) otherwise the problem might be a bit more complicated...
 
Thnx Andy... didnt even check the video tab. It was already enabled a bit weird... anyway I've got it working now.

Its too bad they didnt make the fade to black independant from the volume slider...

Anybody making a plugin to change the fade curve on the volume sliders? :)
