Hi, well there's loads of options for subs. The easiest one is just to get an active sub, some have crossovers built in, and that way you don't need to worry about amps.
I really like the mackie subs
http://www.mackie.com/products/swa1501/
http://www.mackie.com/products/swa1801z/

but they are kind of pricey if you're on a budget.
How much money have you got to spend?

Just re-read your post, you were asking more for what else you need, not just the subs themselves!
Well, if you post the model number of your amp I could have a look at the specs for it. If it really is a 3000watt amp, you could just plug some (passive) subs into the amp and then the top speakers into the subs (because most subs have inbuilt crossovers).
That should sound pretty good if your amp is powerful enough to handle it.
But the way the "pros" do it is to buy a crossover and a second amp like you said (or use active speakers like i posted above). If you do it that way your system is "bi-amped" and will sound even better (and louder because you've got an extra amp).
If money's an issue, just buy some subs (with built in crossovers) for now, then if you have some more money later you can get the second amp and a crossover at a later date.
Hope that helps.

Thanks for ur time Andy and for ur answer!. well yeah u were right maybe i wasn't clear enough i wasn't looking for some subs options b/c i already kind of know which one im buying, but it was very helpfull the list u gave me they look pretty good but i think a little bit too expensive for right now maybe later yeah but im just trying to get something small right now and if it works then i can keep upgrading..
now heres the amp i got, i think its a cheap one but is the one i have right now
GPA-3000 GEMINI (http://www.geminidj.com/gpa3000.html)
by the way I also have a mixer a Femini Mixer PDM02
that i have conected just so i can also plug in an IPOD or sum..
here is what i wanted to buy B-52 MX-18 (Extend the low-frequency response of any MX-Series full-range system to its lowest octave with the B-52 MX-18S 18" 550W Subwoofer. The MX-18S uses an American-made cast-frame 18" subwoofer with a 3.5" high-temperature polyamide voice coil. The rugged cabinet features metal bar handles, 16-gauge perforated steel grille, rubber feet, and protective metal corners. Finished with impact-resistant black carpet. Input connectors include 2 - 1/4" metal phone jacks and a genuine Neutrik NL4 connector. A polemount adapter provides for easy installation of a metal tube to support the MX-15.)
i was planing on buying one now.. and maybe one later but i wanted to know if i needed more amps or what else?
or i don't know if i understood right but u said that i could conect my 15 to the amp and the sub to the 15? or thats only if the sub has an internal crossover???
man i really apreciate ur help, thanks
