I've been reading a lot of questions posted by "No License Users" and i find that some are as basic as they can get, however, some of us that are very familiar with how VDJ and this sort of new technological advances work, we use words and terms that no newbie can possibly understand! Things like TCVs, VV, CGB, etc...
And its not only this forum but every other forum out there, stop doing this, if someone doesn't understand and is asking a very basic question, how about we use simple words to help them out?

totally agree, and wise words...
We where all new at a time, and lets welcome others that are new in best possible ways, without alienating them with attitude, strange terms or short answers..
But VDJ forum is far better than other forums in my opinion ;)

One of the forums I use (mkivsupra.net) automatically detects keywords, and provides information about them in popup forum when you hover over them. Easily implemented, could be a useful addition?

Hey man, there is never a dumb question as repetitive as it may sound to anything. Some posts I see , hey use search, ok, put in a link to get them started. Knowledge is power, enlighten someone as if might seem common sense to you, but some people do not see it that way :)

Agree.. ;)
Everyday there is someone new here, and someone with no background or knowledge about dj software.
or even a forum for that sake...
So we gotta try help all at the experience level they are at ;)

one of the reasons i ended up a VDJ only user is because of the hideous Traktor forum .when i first wanted to graduate from winamp to something professional i tried pcdj demo first ..... couldn't get the hang of there recordcase very well ,and didn't gotothere forum cuz i don't think that was an option i knew about back then ( i mean user forums in general) ...... so i tried Traktor ....... traktor i could get the hang of and bought the full version . on my very first time at there forum i made the unpardonable mistake of asking why there import procedure would try to import tracks in formats that were unsupported ( still don't know the answer to that ) and the response i got from one person was basically ...you are stupid ..... so i stayed away in droves and eventually got interested in 2 things that don't have to do with Traktor ......having some fun and exchanging info with others about the world's coolest job , and Video ..........
so there nasty forum drove me away and i ended up at VDJ
so being nice is always good and we should remember we all started at pretty close to the exact same place .......

I have seen DJ at parties I get invited to use Cracked VDJ! I always ask, "Hey that's Virtual DJ! How does it work for you?, cool, are you a registared user? No, why not you thief?"
Some get offended, some still use the 4.0 version. Some have no idea how to use their RIG!
Again, they are not expert computer users nor DJs this matter, They are just Juke Box DJs at weddings and parties.
On the forum I see a no license user say " I got VDJ and can't make something work!" I always ask in my mind, Did you but the software?
anyways,
VDJ is the best! I do mobile, club and so on, I use TCV, DAC-2, Maya 44 USB and X-Session Pro for Video fader.
