Hi,
One of the clubs I work in has one of these EQ/Speaker Management systems. Until the weekend all I did was turn up, plug in my laptop and Rmx and played.
However in recent weeks the club has been used for other events and the DJ booth became a mess. One of the other DJ's and myself spent Saturday tidying up and a in quick sound check everything seemed Ok.
However, come the evening when I started playing I noticed that things were arse about face. The EV Sx300's were pushing out pure bass and the sub (which is actually a full range unit - 2 drives and 4 tweeters) was pushing out mid & top...
Not much I could do as the club was filling up and I had no manual for the driverack - so I played on. All went well unitl the original sub lost all four tweeters (oops). So the last 3 hours of the night was like listening to your neighours having a party through the wall - all bass and no top...
Luckily only I and a couple of others noticed and I soldiered on. However the club is being used on Wednesday and I need to get this thing re-configured. I've managed to downlaod the manual from the net, but I have little understanding of these bits of kit.
I know it can't get much worse, than it already is, but before I start tampering with it I wondered if anyone out there had any experience. I'd really just love to run the setup wizard and be done with it....
Cheers,
Roy

you probably bumped one of the setting on the driverack... changed the program... just turn the big round on the driverack 1 click to the left then press it in see if the system works normal.. if not then turn the big round wheel 2 click to the right and press it it this will change the setting stored to that position... most likely you bumped the driverack setting knob -- that knob will set the customized program that somone has been programmed in the driverack( this controls the crossover and eq settings also compression and limiting and alos sub harmonics to each output(amp) which goes to your speakers)... if this doesnt work you better get somone who knows how to use the drivrack-- it can be complicated but its really notthat complicated...once you use it... I would help you out but Im in the USA.... Good luck ---
