unless your mixer is midi fraid' not...

managed to sort it now m8 thanks just plugged deck 1 in front and deck 2 in rear and set it to 4.1 works a treat ;)

now the only probs i have is the internal mixer is still working even tho its set to disabled when i record even tho i cut the external fader about it still records as tho i havent touched it any1 help me out?????

The program has no way of knowing that the external crossfader has been moved (unless the mixer doubles as a MIDI controller which most don't and even then you can't be sure the crossfader curve will match) so there is no easy way of getting the recording to match what is coming out of your mixer. Likewise, any effects you may apply from within your mixer will not be recorded.

If you are mainly concerned with recording, you may want to think about using a MIDI controller at least to crossfade.

Another option would be to physically attach some kind of recorder to the record output of your mixer. That recorder could even be a program running on your computer, maybe even a second VDJ session.

cheers for the info m8 much appreciated m8 just gutted i cant record my mix at the mo oh well still better than using a mouse i suppose ;)

Hello,
I'm sure this question is asked a thousand times.
But... I use the version Virtual DJ LE.
And it is not possible to record with that version it seems.
Can somebody help me?

Thanks a lot!

If you can't see the "record" option, then I guess that means you can't. But what you can do is use a free program like "audacity" to record your mix.

Just search for it on the internet.
