I'm trying to get the Stanton scs3d DaScratch up and running with VDJ, but I'm a bit doubtfull about the meaning of all the commands I can map to.

Simple things like start and cue seem to work.

But I can't get the platter movements mapped.
I see the commands like jogwheel, scratch, scratch_wheel, scratchwheel_touch, and don't know which one to map to which movement.
If somebody could help out on explaining the differences between the commands.
Or shed a light on how to get things mapped properly.

Also when I look at the description of the commands then it is not clear how I should make the difference between for example to hold the wheel and release the wheel for the scratchwheel_touch command, how to store the two different midi messages.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thx.

There is now in stanton.com a guide for GEN presets

But i think i had the same problem like you, my jogwheel does not work...

In fact You MUST config it in VDJ midi mapping the jogwheel by crossing the RELATIVE case instead of ABSOLUTE.

Look at stanton Dascrach GEN preset on stanton.com, You will see which effects is on RELATIVE or ABSOLUTE position

Enjoy !
