Well today i feel good because ive donated blood..And i think more people should donate blood to help others.. the good thing about donating blood is The FREE FOOD :D.......well im just putting this post up to encourage people to donate blood when they see one..But make SURE ITS SAFE...im saying this because i once had a friend of mine die in mexico because he didnt get blood..so go out a save a life..

And the next time you renew your drivers license, consider organ donation.
We have a tremendous shortage of donors and people die waiting.
When I donated a kidney 2 years ago, I met a heart transplant recipient who had the heart of a 26 year old girl who overdosed on Tylenol.
I met a patient who had a new set of lungs and a whole lot of liver and kidney patients (including little kids) who would be dead if it weren't for those donors.
One lung patient I met was in for his 10 year check up, he had 4 months to live back then.
And nothing makes you feel better than giving the gift of life (and that get out of hell card they give you afterwards), and long/short term you don't feel a thing.
Your organs could save a dozen lives or improve their quality of life, and you can't take them with you also.
The heros are the donors who meet on line and are total strangers otherwise.
There is even a private networking community that helps donors and recipients find each other now rather than just the donor banks at different hospitals.
The place I went to in Georgia, had a helepad next to my room where victims and coolers made their way to the operating rooms to save some persons life.
It was quite a rush to see the process in action like that one chopper at a time, you just know someone's life is about to be saved every time one landed.
