Nope, just install the drivers, and "select" it, as your controller.

thanks steve.see you have an rmx do you enjoy it and how good is it.do the drives come with the rmx or do i have to download them

The drivers comes with it, but i recomend you to download the latest drivers, install in first time the original drivers and follow all the instructions, reboot if required.
Later upgrade the drivers with the latest downloaded but, be careful!! always upgrade with the rmx unplugged and plug it when demanded.
In second place, don't install the VDJ that comes with the rmx, because it's the limited edition.Forgot that version, you have professional version.
Just go to your download center and install the last version if you haven't still, you know it's V5.2.1
Then.... enjoy it!!
If you want more performance and low latency, you can use the ASIO mode setting all like I say in my BLOG.
Best regards.

Steve is one of the main guys for Hercules in the US, and he is a nice chap, he does all the demo's for there consoles at the different DJ shows.
The RMX does come with the drivers on CD, but I would advice you to download the latest driver package (Oct 08) from the Hercules Tech site.

@djstaffy
Try this giude, (which I did for the wiki) to help you set up your RMX. I use Vista, but it won't be that much of a difference than XP

I would have replied sooner, but Jmmy B's bouncing boobs distracted me.
I agree with the steps and advice given here, dead on.
Enjoy your RMX, and thanks for the good words, Jimmy and all!
