Sujet: virtual vinyl and Mac

so i have been reading allot of comments about virtual vinyl and the problems it can have with a Mac... i have a brand new macbook pro (version 10.5.5) and i am wondering if i will run into any problems... has all the problems with VV been solved for the mac?
