HI All
I Just wanted to know how to fully configure the timecode cd's to work with VDJ & Pioneer CDJ's.
Each time i cue a trax with the cdj, and then play/stutter like i would normaly do with a normal cd player, it never goes back to my cue point.
I have Virtual Dj Pro 5.2.1 with VDJ Timecode Pro CD's and a Audio8 Dj from Native. I get 100% Signal and all, everything works fine expect for the timecode cd control.
I tried both mac and pc, doesnt work on both platform.
Could somebody please help me out.
Thanks

Don't use Timecode so I can't help, but did you read manual? There are more modes you can select for Timecode use.

I did read the manual, tried all 3 modes, and tried all possible combinations... Vinyl, CD's ect ect, Master Tempo On/Off, Master Cue On/Off
Still cant get the timecode cd's to play with the cdj's... I can start the trax manualy in VDJ but cant on the cdj. Or if a Cue a trax with the cdj, and play/sutter, when i press Cue again, it doesnt bring me back to my Cue Point i had setup with the cdj..
Am fed up, been trying to get this to work since about 1 month now.

When you are using Timecode CD's, you set and use the Cue points made in VirtualDJ, not with the CDJ's.

Yes you can, but cue points need to be set in VirtualDJ, not on your CDJ's.

I see, damn not really fun then.... Still need to use a stupid mouse to cue the trax.... :-(
I was hoping i could not use the Mouse ever and just use the cd player just like on Traktor or Serato....

Do you have your CDJ's set in vinyl mode?
When you load a track up with a cue point set in it, it should start at that cue point.

Well i tried setting it at Vinyl and CD, tried all 3 mode (Relative, Absolute, Smart) Tried with Master Tempo On/Off, with Master Cue On/Off Auto Cue On/Off or any combinations... Cant get it to work right...
Even when i press play the trax doesnt seem to start right away... But i have 100% Signal and all.

CDJ 400 is better for this as it can work as midi controller ;)

I hear what you are saying mon... but not sure if Pioneers will jump back to the cue at all that you have set in VDJ.. serato, or even tractor
here is what you could do... set keyboard shortcuts of your cues, i use 1, 2, 3, 4 ...... for Deck A (left) and Numlock / * - for Deck B (right).
When you load a track press cue you want to start fromd, press cue on CD player so that it has the same cue point, player should return to exact cue point u set at all times.
hope i am making sense

Thanks bro, will try that out...
Well the thing is, Serato and Traktor, when ever you press cue on the CDJ, it cue's the trax in the application. the same way you would in real with REAL CD's and CD Player... it doesnt add a Cue mark point in the application it self, it just remembers where it was cued...
But i will try what u suggested and see if that works..
Thanks

Well it still doesnt work the way it should, in Serato and TRaktor it works perfectly, but in VDJ there is still an issue.
