ok, when i load videos with my rmx the main volume sliders also control the contrast of the video. so when volume is on zero the screen is black, and the video has the best quality contrast at full volume? ive messed with the transitions and effects to no avail. thanks.

Go into your config > video > on your listing there is a fade to black > just uncheck that line and you should be fine.
