Nothing, once you plug in the controller it mutes the computer speakers. Once you plug the usb in the computer thinks its the new speaker setup. You would need external set of spreakers or mall computer speakers.

Yes, when you install drivers for RMX, OS automatically sets it as default playback device. You should connect your speakers to RMX itself. If you still wanna use your original output, go to Control Panel>Sounds and select your laptop sound card.

yes got it thanks just wanted to use my rmx for the first time.so is there a way to assign my buttons to my samples.also if i want to just go from my rmx to my amp which connections do i use

I prefer the 1/4 inch connections, they are +4db louder than the RCA connections.

thanks tear.so each side of the 1/4 inch does each side of my amp.how do i assign my samples to my buttons 1-6.also do i just use 3/4 for say and ipod for back up ect

load the rmx skin and the rmx config plugin...should be able to assign functions.

Isn't those outputs should be the same on the RMX? I just ask as I don't have it.

djalf i think they era phono from the ipod.read the wiki but i like getting my info from people in the know with experience.

You say Terry has no experience? Strange, but I don't know what Ipod you are mentioning?

terry is correct, 1/4 out direct to amp from rmx, or rca out from rmx to external mixer...
