a keyboard si in teh way, obstructing "fluid movements"... so a good touchscreen serves better ;-) and you'll still end up cheaper than with those SL1200's anyway. ;-))

That's only because their programming is so bad in the first place. I have used demos of various PCDJ products and every one of them has been riddled with bugs and not worked enough to use on a live gig. PCDJ is the perfect example of how NOT do do business in the DJ software field.
When my BPM Studio dongle failed, I used PCDJ FX demo one night at a party and it crashed about 20 times. Great!
Apart from one bug (or personal dislike) VDJ 5.2 is very reliable. If you read the forums you would realise that V6 is at Beta and may support new midi features. Good things come to those who wait!
