groovindj, I would agree with you - but you know that won't happen.

I was joking - hence the :-P smiley.

In fact I don't give a &*%$ what's written next to the VDJ EQ knobs as I never use them. I've got a real mixer!

I'm sorry I don't think you are being clear enough in your post. Do you mean this 7.1 update will be released in the coming weeks? By weeks do they mean full seven day weeks or business weeks?

(sarcasm btw) :P

dont forget to add the long weekend... :/

and to fooey, usually new versions are being published after the weekend, unless this one is any different you probably won't see 7.1 untill monday.

It was hard to tell from those videos whether sample decks feature:
- drag and drop to quickly put parts in there
- have sufficient cue controls
- can be rigged to midi triggers nicely

Traktor seems to have done this very well with the remix decks?

Please stop the wondering and speculating of the 'time'. Like always - when it is ready then we will make it available.

However, here is a direct quote from the original post that was made on the 14th of August ...

Corporate staff wrote :
We will be releasing a 7.1 update within the coming weeks.

"within the coming weeks"

That does not mean 10, 14, 21, etc., etc. days ...

It means that we are going to release a 7.1 minor version update prior to the major version release of 8.

As it has been mentioned before in this thread ... do not expect it to release on a Thursday/Friday/Saturday ... we know these are the days where the majority of our users are working. And we would not want to entice you to just throw a new version in your system on your work night. Instead we typically will release on a Sunday/Monday/Tuesday - so that you have time to update and then evaluate the update prior to your next big weekend or night.

So within the coming weeks there will be an update made available as originally stated in the first post.

Hope that helps calm some people down... :)

You heard it guys....so..we all must wait...

I just watched a video from the DJ Expo and the Virtual DJ guy said 7.1 will be released in 10 to 14 days....

Posté Sun 26 Aug 12 @ 8:31 pm
He lied. You can't believe everything to see or hear on the internet. Did you read this whole post? There is no date set in stone. It will be released when the developers feel it is ready.

Posté Sun 26 Aug 12 @ 8:42 pm
But the video was posted on the 17th so that would make it roughly the 31st of August!
