Numark CUE/VV and PCDJ VJ are the same CORE as VirtualDJ (powered by VirtualDJ). However; based on agreed upon features between these companies and Atomix - you will find there are features not in the alternative branded versions. With regard to CUE vs VDJ - the Denon issue is a great example (if you think about it - it is a competition thing between the 2 companies with controllers - naturally they will point the finger at each other). With regard to VJ vs VDJ, it is more in the application features not controllers and since PCDJ has a strong marketing plan with Denon (specifically the HC-4500) it is in all their products (VJ, DEX, Reflex).

Cstoll,
So basically, I can not use the HC4500 I just bought with CUE?..Is there a mapped file I could use to make it work..or can I even try to make my own map for it? I downloaded a file (.dll) that was supposed to make it work, but after I saved it on the control devices folder, I can not see it once I want to activate the controller under midi. Please advise.

That is because in the CUE product there is not a Native Support hook in the application. That is why you can not use mappers to interface with it. Bottom line is there is no direct support of the controller. There is indirect support because the controller is MIDI. So, those things that could be controlled via MIDI should be able to be configured; unfortunately this is still going to be limited.
