Don't forget that yellowstone park is supposed to explode in a new volcanoe, california is going to fall into the pacific in "The big one", there's still that rogue asteroid flailing about the universe just waiting to hit us, the solar flares later this year are supposed to knock out all our communication satellites, US and China are supposed to go to Nuclear war and in case that's not enough for you the Mayan's predicted the world will just end in 2012............but,screw all that, worst of all, for some unknown reason VDJ crashed on me last night at midnight just as I started my hot dance set............

One Question: If this so called "Global Warming" is going to lead us into an ice age, who in the &$%# was responisble for the last ice age? Was that "Global Warming" too? Don't believe the hype!

...and the number 1 greenhouse gas for global warming is...
farts.
and where does it come from? cows. yes kiddies, its that good old methane gas from the digestive tracts of countless moo machines. but it's okay. i do my part by eating plenty of rare steaks, buying leather goods (get yer minds out of the gutter ya freaks- i meant shoes), having ice cream, and putting extra butter on my baked potato.
maybe the dinosaurs were responsible for the last bit of global warming. all those vegi-sauruses fartin' away from that nice high fiber diet.
in the meantime, appreciate what you are getting - skimpier clothing on women (those that can get away with it anyhow) dont know about you but i can deal with a year round bikini season.

What ticks me off is that with all the technology in the world like sending metal into space with people and it surviving the insane temperatures there and back, We can't seem to have vehicles that are more durable. Also I have to flip the damn switch from the furnace to the air conditioner instead of it just keeping the same damn temp....WTH is up with that? Set it and forget it!
I sold my snowmobiles last year because of the whole Global Warming thing. In recent years I just didn't get the use out of it. This year there was snow here from October until April! What in all Sam Hell is going on there!?
So...if you guys want it warm just chip in and help me get a new sled. If you want it cold then don't.
I guess it works like the washing my car thing. if I wash it then it rains. if I don't then it doesn't and we have a drought.
You guys did know that the planet revolves around me right?
I think of it this way..... If we knew for sure we only had a few days to live before the Sun exploded due to people having too much sex on Earth what would happen? Personally I would not leave the bedroom with my wife!
Take that for whatever you want.....more thing that make you go hmmmm
Oh yeah...Ask Mr. Gore how much time he spent flying in the air on all of his campaigning. Then find out how much pollution from fuel comes from that jet.

hey Marcel ..... i agree with ya ...... i think Bag disapproves of political discussions or possibly drifting off topic ..... or maybe people like me ( if any) that are trying to keep it from getting over heated .......i don't know , i don't speak for him , maybe he could tell us
personally , i think it's great that we have a political discussion and it doesn't get nasty .......my own family can't seem to manage that ........
i believe that since we're all brudder / sister dj's with so much in common , maybe we can remember that , and not quarrel amongst ourselves especially about side issues ????????????

Too right Chuck......
If you have an opinion great.....but get ready to back that opinion if necessary.
BTW.... I feel for you guys down in the States; We keep one eye open on you guys down there cause usually what happens down there filter's up to Canada sooner or later.
Although Canada might not slow down as much; Our banks have always been stingy with mortgages and there's a much lower sub-prime credit market share. Plus the Oilsands here in Alberta are driving the country.
Although many envio-groups are going off the deep end because some idiot forgot to turn on the Eagle Call by the "tailings" pond. Bunch of ducks died
The Company is probably gonna get fined.
There's also a company in Calgary that's trying to recycle the tailings into industrial rubber, or something like that; the news wasn't specific - probably cause they didn't know at press time.

Our news stations in the UK are often talking about the US economic state at the moment, and the word recession is used a lot in the reports.
We've been told that the government are giving money back in the form of benefits and tax cuts etc in the hope that people spend this money to improve the economy. It is reported that if the money people get back save rather than spend, that a recession in the US is likely.
Just thought I'd let you guys know what we get told by the experts here in the UK!
Gary

Going to revive this one for arguments sake.
Since global warming is on a 15 year break, can we start killing off the caribou yet Al gore didn't get elected either
Here is the problem there isn't anything better out there to save us from the almighty oil, but the real question for you to ponder is this. When do you think the fed will take note this little fun fact is really hurting the us economy.
Oil prices increase when bought is euros = 125%
Oil price increase when bought in dollars = over 300%
I don't care where you live but there is something totally messed up about that. Where we can't tell if oil prices are indeed going up or its just the dollar falling. More things that make you go hummmm....
ah the left....saving us from evil but who is going to save us from them?
