@Wheel What your talking about is a redistribution of wealth....good luck on that quest because I do not ever see it happening. BTW 46k a year: see here is the average income in 2006, and that is with two people working according to those numbers. So, I do not see how that makes most of America rich. Now if the average national income were 20K I might agree with you. Keep calling for revolution, lets see how fast you end up back in Haiti, whether your here legally or not. Don't, however, preach to me about sacrifice. You do not know me well enough to know what sacrifices I have made in my life.

BTW, using two forum IDs is sneaky, what are you hiding?

My first post clearly was talking about DOUBLE-STANDARD. Read it again. Thought the posts were aiming at you, I was writing for people here to see my point of view at a different angle as I came from the Caribbean (rare here). Sacrifices are for people who care.

I am not hidin' anything. I was an early atomixMP3 user. I was registered thru atomixmp3.com. I cannot use virtualDJ.com forums to post. Something happened accidentally when I posted thru atomixmp3 and I know exactly what I did. Like I said, I cannot reveal it as people will start Anonymously Attacking...

I also bought the Hercules MK2. It required getting tickets to move my account to VirtualDJ.com. I do not bother mainly because I search and find all my answers. I am only a bedroom DJ. I learn so much here quietly.

Anyway, I am an American Citizen. But, a Haitian male comes to the states by boat, they turn him around; a Cuban male comes to the states by boat, they turn him into a pro-baseball player. DOUBLE-STANDARD.

Wow, I cannot believe I just went through 9 pages of posts, but it was really interesting. I constantly think about the world like all you do here with an open mind, but I am afraid that with an open mind, that I can be easily influenced and never form my own opinions about topics.

So that you know where I am coming from, I am fresh out of college, young and looking for a full-time job now as a 3D Artist. By reading most of the posts, I find it so hard to find out who is saying the truth and what is really fact. I do not know who to believe when I learn see what is on TV, books, magazine and especially the Internet. I cannot be an expert in every field, so I have to look up to a panel of "experts" in order to learn about problems in this world and what I can do about them. So who can I trust? God? As I was taught at my Catholic private school? I just hope that when I do get that job, that I can be able at least pay off my student loans with my salary so that I can become debt free and live a decent life (save up for donations) even with the slow economy. I can only look up to people to help me as I try to begin the "regular" American life in a 9-5 job (my #1 passion is car racing, but that is extremely hard career to get into successfully). I read the posts to open up my mind for my future life, but I came out confused.

Has anyone ever thought that the slowing down of consumer spending is due to people buying from Craig's list, garage/yard sales or eBay and the fact that the companies do not make money off people buying second-hand items? Just a thought.
